At ACS, we are fully aligned with these sustainable goals. Annually, we manage to recycle over four million pounds of carpet and padding, alongside 250,000 pounds of cardboard, demonstrating our dedication to environmental stewardship.

Our commitment extends to improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) by minimizing the emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). We adhere to and promote stringent industry standards and certifications aimed at reducing VOC emissions.

CARPET AND RUG INSTITUTE (CRI)

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI)'s Green Label Program certifies low VOC-emitting carpets, adhesives, and cushions, ensuring they meet established indoor air quality criteria.

RESILIENT FLOOR COVERING INSTITUTE (RFCI)

In partnership with Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI)'s FloorScore IAQ Certification program independently tests and certifies flooring products for low VOC emissions.

In guiding our customers toward healthier indoor environments, we focus on recommending products tested for low VOC emissions and employing best practices in installation, such as using low-VOC adhesives and ensuring adequate ventilation during and after the process.
