Part-Time Accounting Administrator

Rapidly growing Flooring Installation Service Company is seeking a high energy, motivated individual to join our Accounting Department on a part-time basis to perform the following:

  • Open, sort & distribute mail
  • Manage Fed-Ex account and shipments
  • Answer incoming phone calls for department
  • Scan incoming invoices and save in appropriate destination folder
  • Prepare checks for approval and signature
  • Mail checks to vendors
  • File paid invoices
  • Scan, fax or mail various correspondence to other business locations
  • Recordkeeping for and payments of Customer compensation; both gift certificates and checks
  • Update fixed assets and rent schedule
  • Download all ARs on the 1st of the month
  • Track recouped chargebacks
  • Assist with property management sales orders
  • Post money to POs in proprietary system
  • Special projects and requests as needed.

Part-time position is 20 hours per week; days and times can be flexible within regular business hours.

Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook and business writing skills needed; previous experience with QuickBooks is very helpful.

Associates Degree or higher and some previous experience in Accounting strongly preferred.Apply Now
